The producers of "Expendables 3" are in advanced negotiations with Jackie Chan, Nicolas Cage, Wesley Snipes and Milla Jovovich (a family member whippersnapper at 37) to submit the cast of mercenaries, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer said during a conference call with investors Friday.
The foursome's pedigree is heavy about the pyrotechnics.
Chan will be the star with the "Rush Hour" franchise, possesses brought his label of balletic fighting methods to films like "Supercop" and "Crime Story."

Cage restarted his indie roots to become among Jerry Bruckheimer's favorite action heroes in films like "Con Air."
Before legal issues stemming from unpaid taxes derailed Snipes' career, he was a popular lure such adventure films as "Passenger 57."
And Jovovich's addition is probably one of the most intriguing, because previous "Expendables" outings happen to be male-dominated affairs. Within the "Resident Evil" series, she's proved to be just like handy having a gun as Stallone and his awesome crew.
Feltheimer said production around the sequel will begin in August. Lionsgate is eyeing a 2014 release date.
