Ashley Davenport's days of scheming on "Revenge" have ended.
Ashley Madekwe, who plays the climber Hamptonite about the ABC drama, has revealed she could 't be back for the show's third season.
"Yes it's true I'm leaving 'Revenge,'" the actress Tweeted on Friday, confirming a written report by Deadline. "I've LOVED playing Ashley Davenport but after 2 seasons there isn't any longer a tale left will tell...
"I wasn't going to say anything as I didn't desire to ruin the storyline to the lovely Revengers but as it's been leaked anyway..." she added.
The actress, whose character was last seen working PR for Conrad Grayson's Governor campaign (while aiding Jack Porter's decide to sabotage the wealthy family unofficially) around the Season 2 finale, said the show's scribes have yet to decide how Ashley will be written out from the plot.
"The 'Revenge' writers want to put together an exit story for Davenport and I will obviously play that out available for you all," she wrote, adding a concept on her behalf character's ending. "My preference is the fact Ashley Davenport dies within a blaze of glory. Preferable whilst wearing Valentino couture.... Or Chanel. I am not fussy."
In addition to Ashley's exit, another major character met his endways "Revenge's" Season 2 finale. Declan Porter (played by Connor Paolo) died from the hospital because of injuries from a bomb blast, leaving pregnant girlfriend Charlotte Grayson (Christa B. Allen) by hand.
