Miranda Lambert stopped working in tears during her performance with the Oklahoma benefit "Healing From the Heartland," on Wednesday night.

The united states music superstar choked back tears as she sang her hit, "The home That Built Me," live from your Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, and broadcast survive NBC.

At one point throughout the song, Miranda was required to take time away from the microphone to regain her composure.

A verse about planning for the family's dream home, and building it over completely from scratch - "Mama cut off pictures of houses..." -- got the singer too choked nearly sing, so she aimed her mic toward the bunch to permit them to finish the verse.

After regaining her composure, Miranda finished the song, but it really was a psychological number that left her wiping away tears.
